The Tor 2 is a rechargeable vibrating couple’s ring by luxury sex toy brand, Lelo. It comes in tasteful cardboard packaging with an elegant black storage box branded with their logo.
The rectangular storage box is 7 inches wide, 4.25 inches long and 2.2 inches deep. The Tor 2 sits nestled within velvet-covered foam while a concealed compartment houses other components, including a mains charger and one of Lelo’s signature satin drawstring bags. The storage bag is 5.5 inches long and 3.1 inches wide. Also included is a 5 ml sample sachet of Lelo Personal Moisturizer, a water-based lubricant which is glycerin and paraben free.
My Tor 2 is a bottle green color and is 2.5 inches long in total and 1.8 inches at its widest. The clitoral stimulator has quite a large surface area at 1.25 inches long and about 1.5 inches wide, and it is just under an inch thick.
The interior of the loop measures 1.2 inches in diameter unscratched and there isn’t much stretch in the silicone so it may be a bit of a struggle to put on, though I did manage to get it on my James Deen cock with a lot of effort, and my partner finds it comfortable to wear, regardless.
The pocket pussy is waterproof and although the exposed charging port on the side of the ring may cause concern it is perfectly safe to submerge, just make sure the port is clear of water or lubricant before connecting the charger. The mains charger is about 5 foot long and when it is connected a green LED light slowly flashes to indicate it is charging.
There are two buttons on the Tor 2 – a plus and a minus button. Each button is situated on either end of the clitoral stimulator for easy access during use.
Pressing the plus button once will start the vibrations at a low constant speed, and you can increase the level of intensity by pressing the plus button again. Keeping this button held for 2 seconds will activate the patterns, of which there are six, and you can cycle through each mode using the plus button.
Pressing and holding the minus button for 2 seconds will return to the constant vibration function, and keeping it held again will cycle back down through to the lowest speed before shutting off power.
I’m a big fan of using clitoral vibrators during intercourse, and cock rings like this allow me to have my hands free for something else, or to be restrained, while still getting that extra stimulation that I crave so dearly. The flat surface of the clitoral stimulator on the Tor 2 doesn’t offer a huge amount of stimulation, however, and the vibrations are dispersed over the labia rather than delivered with precision to the clitoris, so this can feel pretty underwhelming.
I also find the controls to be a bit finicky. The buttons are simply too small and stiff, and this makes it harder to change the settings during use and can be problematic if you need to turn it off in a hurry.
The Tor 2 is an upgraded version of the original Tor, which I have never used, and is supposed to be more powerful. If that is the case, I think it’s safe to assume its predecessor would have been a big disappointment to me and possibly many other users. So if you want a Lelo Tor, go for the upgrade.
Pros:
- Rechargeable
- Fully waterproof
- Comfortable to wear
Cons:
- Limited stretch
- Stiff buttons
- Not enough stimulation
Bottom line:
A more cost-effective option in the long run than disposable vibration rings.
